Taken early this morning about 0630hrs, driving past a car park and noticed these bikes on the top of a parked car, made a wonderful silhouette against the sunrise, noticed the handlebars were touching, it looked like the bikes were a couple of lovers waiting for the sunrise. ( Bit of a saddo with a weird imagination i think)SadWinkWinkSmile. Version 2 attached.
Cheers,
Darryl.

Nice spot Darryl. Whilst we were on holiday last year my other half took some pics of the sunset through the bikes on the back of our camper. Does that mean that she is as sad/wierd as you? Wink

From a compositional pov I think I prefer v2 today. Grin

Cheers

What a well spotted chance, Darryl; both images excellent with this unusual f/g silhouette to the morning light and colours.
Somehow V 2 seems a better balance with front wheels more obviously pointing the way.
I'd have been delighted with either though it mine.
Ronnie.

You've found another great image from an ordinary scene, Darryl. Both cracking shots. v2, as Ronnie points out, has a slightly better ccomposition of the bikes but v1 is better for having the bikes in front of the brightest light. Not a lot to chose between them, excellent work.

Great images Darryl
V1 is my preference probably due to the thumbnail on the phone looking like 2 metal
scarecrows. The sunrise sets them off brilliantly

An exception great example of observational and opportunistic photography, a very skeletal shape and form popping out of the warming sun, simply quite brilliant.
