There are jaw dropping night skies still to be found in the UK. This a 20 second exposure using a Nikkor 20mm f2.8 outside the YHA Dolgoch bunkhouse (Mid Wales).

Very good capture. I wish the skys were that clear down in South Wales. Bleedin cloud after cloud night after night. It is so depressing.

What a fabulous sight. You need to be out in the wilds, away from all artificial light to get a sky like this. One day I will see one for myself.
