When I parked the car on the side of a little road in Bala I came across this interesting looking little shed that I would love to see what was inside, but my Mother was with me and I had to be good.

I too like this sort of subject, Netta: you have recorded the dilapidated state very well in good detail, tones and textures.

I have to say, I would be curious what was inside. The doors being a few feet off the ground, it makes you wonder. Lovely shot!!

Dave's comment makes a great picture in my head!
Very well taken image Netta of this old shed - full of character.
All kidding aside it might not be very safe inside!

I rather think if you were to dig deeper as to to its original use would reveal that it was or
they, were cottages.
The roof may well have been stone slabs that over time collapsed under the weight.
Cheap and easy tp use corrugated iron saved them for storage by the farmer.

I am thinking windows Wink

I spotted some in Glencoe village that as far as I could see are all that remains of its past.
My curiosity was to see what the other side revealed but failed to find any access.

An intriguing image Netta. Is that a bell pull on the right hand side, where the corrugated sheet has rotted away? ... Carol
