Well there was I thinking I would have some time for EPZ and along came something else that has taken up all my time, so here we go again, hopefully uninterupted this time.
My husband found this wasp nest in the wood store and on very careful inspection I saw this tiny wasp trying to escape. Needless to say it didn't manage it.
I am putting 4 shots on, the first is a head on shot, the second a side shot, the third a close-up of the pods and the final one of the whole nest which is only 2 inches wide.
There seems to be a little tree of extra egg sacks growing in the middle, quite fascinating.
Wasps never bothered me until one stung my little dog this summer and she nearly died, now I hate them with a vengeance.
I promise I will catch up with you this time.
