Well I suppose that bad weather does have its advantages, so we had rain filled skies with the occasional ray of sunlight.
To be fair though, this was one of the better days of our 2 weeks in rainy Scotland.

The shot was taken from the roadside in Dochart and shows the ancient bridge and water falls which are so very pretty.

Thank you for your kind words on my last upload, all are very much appreciated Smile.

You have captured the essence of Summer 2011's moody weather particularly well, Annette: a lovely scene beneath overcast and threatening skies. You have chosen a good angle for your shot while the detail really distinguishes the many varied green tones from each other.

Bill

Great comp. Just love those wonderful slabs of rock which are captured so well. Sadly Scottish weather hasn't improved much since you were here!!

A typical Scottish take here Annette.
You did not expect to see sunshine in Scotland, did you ?
And why do you think we Scots spend so much time in the pub ?
(Well,--that's my excuse anyway !!)
Good shot.
Mick.

Nice shot of an area I know well, Annette: the advantage (if there is one) of the softer light in this kind of weather is that the colours do record more accurately.
Ronnie.
