Having never seen one of these before on my travels, I went to an Arboretum last week and found loads of them.
Quite a few had holes in them but these two had as yet not been touched.
The second shot shows just how prolific they were.
Thanks for looking and for your continued support.

Just beautiful and I love V2 with them all in situ.
Carol
Two beautiful shots, V1 is just super and the composition is spot on. The crop on V2 is good too.

Thanks Richard, if I'd have got down on my knees I would never have got up again !
Thanks Karen, the arboretum is next door to Castle Howard, it's so tranquil there with huge wide open spaces. It belongs to Kew I believe.
My first one - obviously I have led a very sheltered life, I must get out more.
V1 really is just perfect ... lucky you to find them and do them such justice...
first class work
V1 is gorgeous, but V2 is unusual, it's not often people hold back and give the bigger picture.

Excellent captures Annette - I found my first last year and have seen a couple more in the same location this year, so hopefully you will too.

Such a wonderful find, beautiful specimens Annette,
Geoff.
Two dam fine shots Annette, I can't remember seeing any of these before, I don't think they are found in the types of woodland found in Gloucestershire/Herefordshire
Two great shots, v1 an excellent close up, and v2 is brilliant as it has the air of a fairy tale place.
