Firstly, thank you for all your kind welcome back messages, and for your votes and comments on my recent uploads, every one of them is really appreciated.
Phew, I have just finished painting the fence, one coat would have been bad enough but I wanted an 'arty' look, so did two coats of different colours, what did I let myself in for. I seem to have as much paint on me as the fence does, what a mess ![]()
I took this shot in Amsterdam at a Botanical Garden somewhere near the zoo, the light just caught it nicely, no idea what it is but it sure is a pretty plant.
I will try and catch up with you some time today, I need a coffee first ![]()

Cannot help with the ID (maybe some sort of amaryllis?) but it's a real beauty, and you have captured it so well in that lovely light.
