Oh here's the sun again
Isn't it appealing to recline
Get blinded and to go into the light again
Doesn't it make you sad
To see so much love denied
See nothing but a shadowman inside........

Great capture...and a great expression well caught
Fabulous shot full of meaning and emotion. Excellent use of the shadows!
The shadow sees him looking up almost with optimism or resolution, whereas the reality seems to be eyes that are empty except for a feeling of dislocation. At least that's what I see. Very thought provoking, I love this.
Beautiful portrait Ollie - It's as if he's speaking to the camera, wonderful connection with the viewer.
Excellent portrait, great expression.
Great creative image
Terrific work, Ollie, a rather harrowing image actually but wonderful.
Unstaged reality, You capture the soul so well Ollie.
I like the way you alternate between sweet childhood images and the deeply disturbing, and treat them both with the same degree of seriousness and respect. The shadow speaks of a strange, silent alter ego. It's as strong as the face, even stronger. And so different.
stark with a large (past) shadow, has a 3D movement about it to
A diffrent shot..
I think it a little soft for me on focas..
Well done anyway...
You lock the door
And throw away the key
Theres someone in my head but its not me.
Wow..powerful and haunting, both the image and the words.
Well seen and taken...like the shadow here...
bless him, very tender work Katie

Fine work Ollie, good to see Jimmy back.
Fantastic work Ollie, the shadow creates a strange feel about this and draws me to look at it again and again.
excellent dichotomy achieved here
you are a star at this Ollie .....evoking feeling every time

Wonderful emotional image Ollie
A rather harrowing image of Jimmy. I hope he's well. John
I see great empathy with this man, you do him justice as a person.
