surfing the web
I think the title alone is worth a click here. As for the advice on how to photograph a web, I can't claim a lot of experience. I would suggest a tripod, however, and I would also suggest getting the light to shine on the web from behind (at an angle), especially if the web has any dew on it. I would also suggest that you get the plane of the camera as parallel to the web as possible so that you do not have to use tiny apertures to bring the majority of the web into focus. I hope that helps, but there are probably far better qualified people than me to advise you on this site.David

Bull African Elephant
Nice capture, although a little too closely cropped for my personal taste. With a grey animal you have to be very careful with againstthe light shots, and this is a little on the dark side. Load the image into Photoshop, go to Enhance, Adjust Brightness/Contrast, Levels. When you have reached levels move the middle triangle slightly to the left, and be amazed at the increase in detail in the elephant. If you have any trouble with this drop me a message.

black panther
There is always a problem photographing black animals. Here your exposure was fine for the background, but the subject is too dark, with most of the head lacking detail. Try going into Photoshop and using the levels command. Go to the middle arrow and move it slightly to the left. You will be astonished at the extra detail revealed in the fur. Give it a try, and then repost it.David
