The longer I gaze at this image, the more it reaches me at a visceral level. It is pulling me in and imparting a certain calm. There are certainly technical aspects to this shot that I really like but the art aspect is what is so award worthy here.

Seriously mystical woodland scene, full of forboding and making one cautious about venturing further in.
