I was bringing Kai home from his athletics club on Monday night when the clouds briefly broke and the sun showed itself, so I pulled into the Dock Museum at Barrow and grabbed a quick shot of these fishing boats tied up for the day.

Thanks for taking a look and have a good weekend.

Darren.

It's very striking Darren and bold use of the split horizon. The boats and bottom half has superb detail, colours etc. The sky is also fascinating. I guess a hdr process, I've had poor results so far but will keep plugging away for the tricky exposure ones.

Thanks everyone.

Andy, this is 5 shots at +/- 0.3 stop increments merged and tonemapped in Photomatix. I'm at work at the moment so cant check the base exposure. Thanks for the kind words.

Darren.
