Had a couple of trips over to Elgol on our trip last week and we were rewarded with some lovely conditions at times. We did comment throughout the holiday we were surprised at how benign the tides were, so not much in the way of crashing waves anywhere ... always another reason to go back I suppose ![]()
I think Rich [though it may have been Fran] mentioned that this particular stone had been shot a couple of times before, most notably by some bloke called Joe Dorset or Devonish [or summat similar to that - I forget now]
Anyway, does that mean that you shouldn't shoot it because it's already been done? (Never stopped me before

0.5 secs @ ISO100, 0.6 + 0.9 ND grads [angled] + 0.6 ProGlass ND.
Just noticed it's just gone past beer-o'clock ... catch up in a mo, cheers for dropping by ![]()

Excellent.
More words than that would be superfluous.

Lancashire mate, thats his name Joe Lancashire. No it does not mean you shouldn't shoot it, anyway pritty sure Joe did it after a fella called Prior or Before! not sure did it, think I'll go to the pub now!..
Think this will do well for you, very well for you.
Lovely and rich shot Paul. Love the sunlight kissing the Cuillins.
Adam.
A very attractive addition to the shots from this viewpoint. I hope you managed to get back without having to climb up to the clifftop and double back as I did during my visit.
Super image Paul even if someone well known has been there before...

Lol just having one last check on site and glad I did now
beaut mate
I've never totted up the hours I've spent here but it must be pretty long, it's a place you never tire of.
Nice light and it's good to see a calm image instead of the furious splashes and waves so many have done before.
The midges are a pain, that's why I stay away in the summer months, but the little buggers can be there early and late, there's no real respite except the winter.

It is just a superior landscape Paul and I don't think Mr Cornish could have bettered it,Top stuff mate.
Tom.
