I love the way the bright swirl in the clouds is reflected in the water and cupped by the curve of sand. The colours are lovely and you've held the sun back very well. The reflection of the nearest boat's mast works well as a lead in line. It's all cleverly done. If I have a constructive criticism it would be the boat on the far right is clipping the frame and I find it a bit distracting. Given you can't time travel back to re-compose (and I often wish I could when I look retrospectively at my images!) I would suggest cloning out that boat and it's reflected mast which shouldn't be too difficult. Then I think you'd have a real winner, although there's no doubt it's worthy of all the votes it's had and more!
Regards
Al

Stunning stuff, Mand!
If I was to nit-pick, I'd go along with Al's comments about the boat on the right clipping the edge of the frame...but I'm not going to nit-pick! Love it, and the light is just wonderful ![]()

thank you Andy, Alun and Mark for your user awards. Greatly humbled and honored.
Al & Trev, see what you mean about the right clip. I hadn't noticed it until now. Must pay more attention. Thanks for the crit, very much valued.

roger!, thank you for the mod, love the moody feel to it. I only just spotted this as it was hidden under the mods tab (err yeah).
