Good Morning All,

Something completely off my usual (and WAY out of my comfort zone). This is Cary. She is the daughter of one of my longest standing friends. Her mother and I met when our sons (now 23, 22 and 21) were all in playgroup together. A few months ago Cary's Mum asked if I would take some shots of her in her prom dress. Having never taken any portraits before I hesitantly agreed (thinking I'd have loads of time to swot up)...... Anyway, Thurdsay came and I was still clueless. Our very own Anthony came to my rescue and talked me through a few things. Managed to wangle the use of another friends garden and house (thanks Graham). Somehow it all came together. Cary was a total natural in front of the camera. Did exactly what I asked and just posed (thank God). You'll all have no idea of how relieved I am that they turned out useable. Have to say I got a bit emotional when I looked through them on the PC. I feel extremely privileged to have been part of Cary's prom night.

Would I do it again... probably not!!

Thanks for looking
Mand,
