Posted a cropped version of this photo from an engagement session a few days back, but wasn't 100% happy with it.

Received some very helpful comments on it (bike works, bike doesn't work, and so on) and would love to see crop alternatives other creative minds on Ephotozine might come up with.

So if you're inspired, please have a go!

Thanks in advance.

I like the inclusion of the bike but would have liked it to be a little closer perhaps to the couple or vice versa. Not always possible.

I liked your first post of this shot the best and although this is still a fantastic shot the texture of the walls made me have a look at it in mono and then try the square crop because of the framing of the lines on the wall.

thanks for your modifications miptog and stu....like them both

would like to rebuild the wall so it has six even-sized grey squares, then position the railing, the couple, and the bike exactly where i want them....trouble is i'm not too confident this kind of thing in photoshop....but you've all inspired me to have a go

To me this all proves that what you saw in the first place was the best shot, and the inclusion of the bike works. it opens a few more questions as to whats going on.

I love it, simple and effective.
