Just testing out my new 1000px allowance with one of my favourite pix.
That look great click, Don
beautiful, looks like a painting!
Looks even better bigger
Loverly play on light and shadows, has an abstract feel to it.
I've revisited this one a few times now, Nic, and I've finally decided I like it. have to admit I wasn't sure at first. I see it now as a "mind landscape", verging on the surreal. therefore, I like it.
Full size looks great. Hope to be coming over to Perth in July, but it's still very much up in the air at the moment.
I like it Nic, I always admore landscapes as I am hopeless at them, thanks so much for the comments, re the street pic, the young fellow this morning is the other chaps friend but this one is not as damaged as the other boy, unfortunately they are both heading for trouble as they are starting to break into places now..
A surreal feel to this and beautiful colour.... like it a lot.
Like this, The reflection adds to the shot. JOhn
Thanks for your commetns Nic, my other sister Heather, lives near Brisbane in Australia and also my entire family from Zimbabwe live near Perth so I have a great fondness for Oz (except the cricket team!!! LOL) take care
A beautiful scene...just like a painting - as already mentioned.
this is art
Re Jill's comment on the Australian cricket team... couldn't agree more!!!! But then again there's a little bit of mixed emotions there since I was born in Perth 53 Princess Road way back in the dark ages of 1943... thanks for your comment on my two egyptian chatterboxes.... I'll go back to it now and cut off the LEFT hand side... that'll show him.
Great detail! Tis quite a surreal image.
Excellent work Nic. Thanks for the comment.
Yup, Princess Road in Nedlands... I can even send you a picture of the bungalow as it was all those yonks ago...
I felt that it is art. Don't want to steal some one's ideas but it is beautiful D.
Superb click, Superb Portfolios
i love seeing pics of the bush its so peaceful and calm click
What a beautiful shot!. Great mood and textures...no easy in colors. Excellent. Your portfolio is outstanding
Wonderful use of colours, creates a 'fairytale' mood! Thanks for the 'Koala'comment. I was in Perth (favourite place in OZ) during a trip in 1999 that took me all over Australia and NZ. Try the train ride from Perth - Sydney..and take the camera !
Thank you Nic
Your work is beautiful
Its a week now Nic and you know I am coming to terms with things now.
Thank you for asking. Keep in touch
This is gorgeous, very evocative, surreal landscape. Judi
This is quite surreal. I've looked at it a few times and my brain still can't work it's way around it. I love it
hmmmm .... i'll have to come over and see....but i do think its over exposed a little on the top../// ,,,, top notch tho
hi nic, this is a great shot lone the colour and reflection .thanks for your comment .
(You've got some amazing shots there nic!!)
Nic, wonderful portfolio, and yes it pretty much all works! The lightness at the top of the frame stops this from being a straight record shot to something more dreamy as if the scene is half painting half photo. I love these knarled trees and reflections you find.
a Super Image well done.
Oniric.Thanks for the dream.
