Lovely harvest colours and composition.

Would like to see this framed at a more slanted angle to add some extra interest to it. If the zig-zag lace was running from top left corner to bottom right it might hold the eye for a little longer.

Mint,

As david says above, perfect excecution but not sure if it's a shot that the a B+G would select for a print or album use?

Still, it's only by being brave and attempting shots like this that we are able to progress and develope our own unique styles.

Nic.

Beautiful. Would like to see a closer, compounded perspective with a long lense.

Gary,

Nice cat image. Just noticed this after uploading my own pic with a very similar title. Apologies, no copying intended.

Lovely colours and hues. Would have liked to see more of the reflection in that large area of surface water, but that said, a lovely coast scape.

Evening before the storm II

Evening before the storm II by lucinka

Cracking light and well seen. Is this 'as captured' or have you used some PS'ing to enhance things? Either way it would make a cracking fine art print for the wall.

My only suggestion for improvement would be to remove the far right tree which is cut in half by the right frame of the image. It's a little distracting and I think would tidy the composition up considerably if it was cloned out.

Nic.

Mint,

A stunning landscape/travel image. We're hoping to get back to Pisa ourselves sometime soon.

SURPRISE!

SURPRISE! by mint

Mint,

Another solid candid shot. I'd like to see a dark vignette added with some burning-in to draw more attention to the bride's expression. At present my eyes can't decide where to rest, the face or the glass?

Keep up the great work.

Nic.

Knot tied

Mint,

I like this one too. Some people will immediately slam it for use of the often much hated 'selective colouring' but wedding photography is driven by client demand...and guess what...B+G's are still very much demanding this kind of finish to their prints and album images.

Here the technique works beautifully, enhancing an already technically competent and well composed image.

I'd be interested to see the opacity of the coloured layer reduced to about 60% to see if it reduces the vibrancy of the bronze colouring a little?

Nic.

It looks like a space craft!! Very effective composition. Like it.

Nice colours (polariser?) and lines here. my only suggestion would be that maybe the composition could have been a little better if you had been a few meters further forward...

...that way you could've avoided the footprints in the snow in the bottom third of the image...but that's nit-picking though.

Regards,

Nic.
