I waited 45 minutes for the rain to clear before I got this shot. Hopefully it was worth while

Worth the wait Nick, love the light catching the bridge.
Darren.
stunning well done.....................regards jim
Well worth the wait, Nick: you'll need to return eventually and try for a shot with three bridges after the new crossing is built (if it is built, ie). The Forth Bridge seems to have been clad in protective wrappings for so long now as repairs are carrid out.
Ronnie.
well worth it indeed the composition is excellent as well

Stunning light and stunning shot.
Only forty five minutes? Sometimes it takes weeks
Nice one Nick

What I didn't say is I got completely drenched, took 10 minutes in the car to wipe the camera down. Tho I must say apart from one rain spot the image I got as the deluge started isn't too bad either - so I may give it an outing. I had about 1 minute of this type of light so didn't have long to get it right. Who says that you don't have to work fast in landscape photography?
Just another thanks to everyone, I was shocked how well this one has done.
Certainly worth the wait - and getting drenched for, Nick!
A super capture, lovely light, composition and good foreground interest, too ![]()
