The latest addition to the Death of a salesman series ...

I was asked how I came up with ideas for a project. For this series, I heard an article on radio 4 a year or so back on Arthur Miller, and his famous play of the same name (one of the upsides of been stuck in a car 5+ hours a day), at the same time I bought a book by Gregory Crewdsden, thats where the idea for this series came from. I hope you can see a little bit of Crewdsons influence in the previous 2 in the series.

Probably the last DM for a while, I've tried a few recently they haven't matched my vision, so will take a chil, refresh my ideas. And start them again in a few weeks.

Big thanks for all the User Awards / GEA on the recent shots, its really appreciated.

Is that chest hair in the shirt? A salesman from a past era by the look of the suitcase too. Excellent work.

Intriguing, the sort of image that makes you look closely.Reminds me a bit of the Women in WW2 monument. A hat hanging from the hanger might look good.
The shadow is good, although there seems to be an odd detached bit to the right of the shirt collar. I like the crumpled trousers. Not so sure about the chest hair though...

Thanks everyone.

A big thanks Malcolm for the GEA Smile

Moira, the shadow by the shoulder is from the shirt colar. When I did the base shote, I took numerous pictures, one with just a shirt. I did this to check where the shadow would fall, to get authentic lighting. I used the drop shadow option in photoshop and fine tuned it to match what was there originally.

Big, Big, thanks Pete, I really wasn't expecting that Smile Smile I've been sat on this weeks, thinking should I, or shouldn't I, as I really didn't think it would go down too well.

Excellent job Nick. Congrats on the EC and GE too.

I am not sure about the 'Do not disturb' on the handle. Would that not be on the outside of the door for this scenario - I am assuming he is in his room.!!

The "Do not disturb" sign was actually there in that position (not shopped - probably only bit of image that wasn't) - It was what gave me the idea.

Great concept - and congrats on the awards - they are well deserved. Am I the only one to think the proportions are all wrong between the upper and lower body? I suspect this is deliberate, but I don't get what it adds to the narrative.
