***************
A stormy future awaits Dorothy ...

"Wave after wave, each mightier than the last,
Till last, a ninth one, gathering half the deep
And full of voices, slowly rose and plunged
Roaring, and all the wave was in a flame:"

They look like a pair of trouble makers and it's a good idea putting the bear on look out duty. Grin
An entertaining image.

Beautifully undulating terrain and localised storm.
Dorothy is melded into the tree so expertly but poor Timothy looks to be in danger of being left behind all on his own.
Be careful when you whistle up a storm guys. Superb work.

I like the composition Nick, nice blend with the tree.
Perhaps just a wee bit too much fg,scrolling down puts much more emphasis on the subjects for me.
A good,solid conversion.

It's well worked Nick and I like the background field very much indeed but Janet's point about there being too much foreground is a valid one. It suits BW and the cloud and lightning are reasonably realistic looking, I'm just struggling to understand why Dorothy is part tree and part girl?

When I started the series someone, who will remain un- named advised me to keep them guessing Wink

On a technical, there's a small bit I'm not happy with, the lightning that connects to the cloud, that is something I will correct for the print.
