I've let my monos slip of late, time to put it right. I've been processing one or two this week.
This is from a couple of years back at Haworth.
I've put a desaturated colour version in the variants, I wouldn't mind some comments on this too as its a style I'm practicing and I don't think I'm there yet.
Oh and it doesn't come "alive" until you open up the large version (promise)
hi Nick it's on again this weekend, i'll be there Sat morn, if you see me give us a shout.
Unfortunately I wont be able to go this weekend, I would have loved to have gone too.
Oh boy this is good. Angles, dynamics, it jumps out of the screen. Particularly, as you say, viewed large.
Nice shot nick
When are we guna see the shots from the moors from last weekend?
Thanks everyone. I was working on a few last night Andy hope to get one I'm happy with up on Sunday
Like the details and tones in this Nick - good mono work. My preference is version one. Congrarts on the GEA.
Excellent portrait, Nick, stunning detail. I rather like the warm tones in V2 if I had to choose a fave.
The title and that look make this!!
Great expression Nick,a good spot by you.
I do prefer the mono TBH,V2 just looks a bit too pink, especially in the gap between the 2 subjects. The mono has good tones & would make the better print IMHO.
Well this one went down well !!
..back to landscapes
I think I prefer the subtlety of version 2... Dave
My UA tends to go on the picture that I really, really wish I had taken.
