Sorry for the brief details when I uploaded. I'm fighting with my daughter for "time" on the main PC.
Captured in late Summer, close to home, overlooking Holmfirth, hence the title. It was a beautiful evening, tho a little breezy. It was quite precarious stood on the banking at 45 degrees, and quite a feet trying to get the tripod in place with the spongy undergrowth.
Just looking at my recent PF uploads, I can't believe how many are blueish - must start getting a few warmer images in starting today.
Just a word of warning, be careful what you agree to when eeerm well under the influence. Apparently I agreed to do the London Brighton bike ride at Industry presentation ... at 3am.
Last time I did the London / Brighton I was 3 1/2 stone lighter .. so more exercise less photography, well that's the plan.

This works really well. Lovely control of the light and striking colours.

Climbing hills like that should help with the fitness training. Good luck, let us know how it goes.![]()
Super colours and wonderful light, Nick, really has a feeling of depth.

This is a really wonderful shot Nick. All the planes of the land and the edge of the cloud converge and lead the eye to the setting sun. Beautiful colours in the foreground as well.
