I have an confession to make - It wasn't supposed to be the image - this was, you see it was the central image of a 3 image stitch - but worked on its own.
This has been combined in PTGUI finished in PS - as its a pano, please have a look at the large version.
One of those where detail is lost certainly in the thumb but also regular view especially in extreme highlights.

Congratulations on yesterday's HC and yes I think I prefer this one too. You still have that all-important little cloud. But I think the format gives a more distant, remote feel. I have this open at the same time as ringyneck's They fence gorses don't they, and the effect is strangely similar.
