An images from the depths of the archives - I processed this months ago, prepared for upload and never got round to airing.

For once in my monos I gave it a slight warm tone.

A black faced sheep with backlighting is not the easiest to meter for.

please let me know what you think.

Just spotted an error in the presentation ... ah well see if you can spot it. I have a recolection from before that I noticed it before upload then decided on another image and forgot to change it !!

The shapes in the sky and on the land make this an excellent composition and I like the toning as well.

Great mono shot
Brings back memories of the Peak District, with the dirtiest sheep (colour that is!!!) I've ever seen

Would "Pweak" be the problem, pressing the w and e together when writing the title?

For a scouser he has a remarkably well developed sense of humour.

Pweak Life, Nick?!! Despite the spelling, this is a super image, love the way the light is catching the sheep, and love the subtle toning...gorgeous.

The sheep really stands proud of the landscape, very nicely done. You had me scanning the image for something that shouldn't be there, doh !

Like the shot Nick and the mono, just wondering what it would look like without the toning.

Thanks everyone. Les your probably right, th I used a tone as I have uploaded one very similar some time ago (with the sheep looking directly at me). I've been experimenting with the toning as I have a long term project in mind.
