I was staying over near the office this week, so took the camera out for a couple of hours with the new lens.
I'm pretty impressed, although one thing I've noticed is its seems to show up the grads more (this is a blend - no filters).
Taken after all the Chavs had moved on.

Beautiful photo, would love to get something like this myself!

... you must have the patience of a saint ![]()
Lovely, well thought out composition mate, particularly like the low light catching those fg ridges ... but [you suspected there was one coming didn't you?], it just feels a touch dark overall and could do with a small lift. I just did a quick test and lightened the mid > highlight tones and it did help IMO. Purely personal opinion so feel free to ignore me mate ... I won't be offended ![]()
Must catch up soon!!!
No probs Paul, I processed this last night, and must admit it could do with a bit of a lift (different lighting on the PC) ..should have re-checked before uploading. Tho going through a bit of a "dark phase" at the moment.
Yes must catch up, I'm over in Runcorn far, far more these days (would have given you a call but the forecast looked c**p that day) - When I get back from the hols I will give you a call.
A beautiful scene, beautifully captured, Nick, the light's just wonderful ![]()
