From a little known location on the Wirral
I was staying over near the office this week, so took the camera out for a couple of hours with the new lens.
I'm pretty impressed, although one thing I've noticed is its seems to show up the grads more (this is a blend - no filters).
Taken after all the Chavs had moved on.
Beautiful photo, would love to get something like this myself!

... you must have the patience of a saint
Lovely, well thought out composition mate, particularly like the low light catching those fg ridges ... but [you suspected there was one coming didn't you?], it just feels a touch dark overall and could do with a small lift. I just did a quick test and lightened the mid > highlight tones and it did help IMO. Purely personal opinion so feel free to ignore me mate ... I won't be offended
Must catch up soon!!!
No probs Paul, I processed this last night, and must admit it could do with a bit of a lift (different lighting on the PC) ..should have re-checked before uploading. Tho going through a bit of a "dark phase" at the moment.
Yes must catch up, I'm over in Runcorn far, far more these days (would have given you a call but the forecast looked c**p that day) - When I get back from the hols I will give you a call.
Can relate to the "dark phase", been a tough old time of late. We were away anyway mate ... been a busy old time in our household, should start to calm down after tomorrow.
Enjoy yer hols fella, speak soon.
A beautiful scene, beautifully captured, Nick, the light's just wonderful
Good one Nick....though like Paul I think this is a touch dark....again!
a great comp and the colours, even in this dark tone, are superb.
Beautiful colour Nick,top stuff mate.
extraordinary light and beautiful resulting colors--- exquisite!
Doesn't look too dark to me. It looks moody and romantic.
I really like it!
Thanks everyone. I really didn't see that coming, big thanks Pete
Love the warm tones, works really well, not to dark for my taste, nice work.
Kind Regards Willie
Thanks for the UA Tom
Wow! This is wonderful
Lovely Nick, well done on the EC !
