From the mini EPZ meet at Grosmont several weeks ago, this is early morning when the engines are preparing for the day ahead.
I have a mono sitting on the hard drive of this that I quite like that 'may' get an airing at some stage - Imight put it in as a variant.
All comments welcome.
I love these images. This is excellent and really makes me want to get these kind of shots.
I really don't go for train shots, but this is brilliant, absolutely brilliant
Superb shot like Hanners i dont really do trains but this just jumped out at me well captured
love the lighting and the feel to this one the colours are great too, makes a lovely shot
Don't do trains but the exposure and detail in this is spot on and caught my eye
Excellent image.Love the colors and the details.
astonishing shot Nick, supreme work mate
This has a very nice feel to it.
Not normally a fan of train shots, but this is excellent! Maybe a few of the colours are a tiny bit hot for me, but on the whole superb
very atmospheric Nick
A very good looking shot indeed ... the orange backlighting and detail left and right are most pleasing. I'm almost tempted to go out and buy an anorak
Outstanding image +1
Like the details and colours in this Nick - excellent work.

To get in the sheds you need the Anorak Dave tho I've hidden mine from my Wife and daughter to prevent ridicule !
Jumped out from the thumb Nick - excellent!
Stunner Nick enough said.
Wow - this is superb photography Nick!
An excellent capture Nick, loads of atmosphere created by the smoke and lights. Great colour and detail too.
Nice shot, bit of nostalgia for me I used to drive them and curse them, wish I had my current gear then.
Is the train leaning to the right a bit...?
Lovely lighting and atmosphere there,

No Caleb, it must be an optical illusion as I used the front "fender ???"
as the reference point to straighten the image. Its probably the clutter that gives it that feel.
You've captured a great atmosphere here.
Stunning coulors. Love it. Well done.
superb, just love it.
Very atmospheric with fabulous colours.
I do like train's (and have the anoraks to prove it!!) and think this is rather special. Lovely work Nick.
Fantastic image, the colours and atmosphere are great.
Excellent light and viewpoint.
I like trains too...and 'tis special
We had our anoraks on again at the weekend but the engine shed at Grosmont looks a little different now due to the new lights, which do not give out the warm glow of the old ones like this shows, which is a bit of a shame for us photographs but that said it helps the work force to see better.
This is a super image I like lots
Terrific viewpoint and atmosphere.
Love your central composition. There's great warmth too.
This is superb. The orange lighting and the detail are spot on.
Thanks everyone & thanks Barry for the user award.
