Where Dorothy & Timothy meet the death of a salesman series.
I decided after much deliberation to use the mono image. Technically/aethetically the colour probably works slightly better, however to fit in with the series I decided on the mono. (I also had some great advice when I uploaded a couple of versions "elsewhere")
Probably better viewed in a darkened room, quite a bit to take in and took blooming ages.
I haven't been around much recently and won't be for some time - I'm seeing more of hotel beds than my own at the moment (this ironically was one of them).

Very spooky Nick,my first thought was that the guy in the bathroom had hung himself,I hope I got it right looking at the title ?
I did have to look hard though as there is lots to see here,almost missed the images on the wall which are an integral part of the series...I need new glasses !! 
THere's so much going on in this. The resident must be quite dapper - smart shirt and tie, the times. A very particular suitcase too. I like the inclusion of your past images on the wall and the puzzle re the man in the mirror. Super lighting. There's always so much to look at in your images.

An amazing amount of detail to take in - wonderful light with superb exposure. The use of the suitcase to lead the eye works so well.
The figure in the mirror is brilliant, absolute top stuff.

That part-figure in the doorway, the hand hanging limp... I cannot imagine that colour would have the mystery or the danger.

Just to answer one question, the man in the mirror (oh I could have used that as the title) is one of my Victorian forefathers (Greatgrandfather to be exact) an image I scanned and restored for my Mum.
Pleased you stuck with the mono Nick, it continues the journey you started.
Also pleased with the adjustments you have made, make the image even stronger, overall a really beauty that will fit into this wonderful series you stared last year. I am sure when the last one is done whenever that is you will have a super story of prints to display.

I like this Nick , perfecto conversion !
But it does have the approach of a sliderule for a conceptual image.
Perfection overwhelming ambience , angles contrived to draw and a struggling point of (viewer) focus.
Would be so good to have added some incongruity or sense of paradox into the image.
I dunno , perhaps a blood stained hankie draped on top of the bannister , or a frog in the suitcase , something to draw the viewer through the experience.
