Well I had decided to take a mini break from photography. I was / am feeling a little jaded, so will probably wait till after the summer hols to come back, at least uploading regularly. I have a couple of exciting projects lined up that I want to go at fully charged.

The other night I was at a loose end, and did something I havent done in years, I went out without a plan (I normally have everything planned), just my camera and long lens no expectations, just enjoy a glorious evening with just my thoughts for company.

Whilst not my typical type of image, I do like this, I know it wont be everyones cup of tea, the very, very narrow depth of field etc, and it is for once virtually out of camera (just used lightroom to match what was on the preview screen). Probably the least processed image I've ever put on EPZ. But it has given me ideas which I will explore further.

So see you all in a few weeks when hopefully I will have some new material.

The narrow dof and hot colour works for me. Sort of sums up the hazy heatwave of the last couple of weeks.
Don't stay away too long.

The magic and mystery of light. Chris has expressed it beautifully.
