I'm a sucker for kinky-boots ............

Not really my cup of tea Nick but it is nicely staged, lit and photographed. The rose and petals are a nice touch but I'm thinking that the brown background is just a tad too drab.

I agree with Dave up to the part about the background which I think works extremely well.

Thanks everyone, and thanks Pete for the HC.

The background Dave is exactly as I wanted it for the 3 images, quite gothic in feel, to go with the images, tbh this of the three is slightly the weaker (IMO), the main image comes next. What I was trying to portray is a "Vampire" scene, without cliches, teeth etc etc

The three are designed as a panel of work, so I had to be careful to match them as close as possible, I would also say it's extremely important to view this on a calibrated screen as when I looked at it on a low DR monitor detail in the background was completely lost and too dark..

I think this is brilliantly done: it creates a theatrical but very complete world, in a way that is entirely believeable...

The staginess means that the models don't seem to have had any problem acting out their roles - a risk with this kind of shot is that the tog goes for the overty sexual, and misses the sensuous. Not to mention any shred of credibility.
