Sorry for those who voted on the colour version - I wasn't happy how it looked at web resolution (I've put it as v2)
Big thanks to Pete for the HC on the last image.
This is from a recent trip to Grosmont, when I went primarily to collect images for the Dorothy & Timothy series.
They work equally well for me, in different ways. I do like the hint of warmth amid the soft greys in V2.
super standards..V1 just
Two great images; each with strong merits. The grittiness of V1 against the greater "life" that the colour provides in V2 create a nice contrast.
Clas! Both work mate. However I am in a mono mood today so I'll go V1
Both work well Nick, but the colour version just holds your attention a little more
Too hard to decide.
Both versions excellent. Love them both............Sandy
Two very fine images, each as attractive as the other.
V1 by a small margin.
V1 definitely. When we can't see the orange there's not much to suggest what he might be, or might be doing.
Excellent candid portrait, Nick...and definitely the mono for me
Mono for me too, just seems to work better for this particular image
Colour for me. Fab
Thanks Mavis, and a massive thanks Pete
