From a few weeks back, the light for the Sunrise was a disappointment, so I started to look for things a little different, I decided on an extreme wide angle as close to the ground as I could muster.
Then gave it a mono treatment..for a change ![]()

Another beauty Nick. The low angle and lens distortion creates a really powerful image.
I was a bit disappointed by Spurn when I went there earlier in the year. Some bits were lovely but other bits looked like a knackered council estate! I think the main cause of my disgruntlement was that after driving for two hours, I couldn't get a cup of tea!

The march of the juggernauts. Love this, it makes a monster out of something so ordinary.

The viewpoint works well Nick, great mono conversion too.

When I saw this I knew it had to be yours, Nick - the quality's excellent...especially large. You must give some lessons on how to do these! Amazing.

Good choice of viewpoint , get them while you can as it gets more difficult to scrabble around on the ground as you get older.
From one who knows

Actually getting down is Ok but getting up again is a killer![]()

Never has an old tractor been photographed so often. Iconic almost - great angle . You seem to be about 3 feet below ground for this angle !!! Great shot
