A great use of the morning light and colours for this composition which taken at any other time would have the bright orange of the lifeboat dominating the scene. I'm guessing you had the camera as low as you could too which adds more depth to the scene.

This is lovely. I didnt get there until Sat late morning so missed this one. Great image, most people dash for the pier at Whitby when they see a nice Surise. This is a great veiwpoint Smile

Well composed/cropped and a nice bit of light illuminating the buildings on the left. A very photogenic place is Whitby.

That is superb Nick...!

Really nice tones and warmth to the image - the composition and light is fantastic. It's becoming dificult to decide upon a favourite location or shot from that weekend, this has to be short listed on both acounts.

I must confess to having a soft spot for photos of Whitby and sunrise/sunsets, and this combines both in a nicely composed image. Nice one, Nick.
