I picked up some brand new, unworn, utterly ridiculous shoes in the charity shop today - at £5 I had to bring them home.
Of course I had to try them out but can see quite a few niggles with this pic but trust me it's not easy balancing on those things and holding a suitcase around your hips and operating the remote - all at the same time.
And after all that the shoes are barely noticeable!

Back again at last - been a busy day and evening and I'm about to call it a day I think!
Thank you all - and thank you very much Polly/Pauline for your award - very much appreciated.
I must inspect these shoes more closely - the label that the charity shop peeps wrote said they were a size 8 but given that my feet are a very wide 6 they seem to fit a wee bit too well. They will never, ever been worn out though - mutton dressed as lamb would be a very apt description!
Some may recognise the style of pic though - I did one a while back with striped legs and that pic adorns a canvas bag and a t-shirt ![]()
Have to agree with MandyG - I never even saw the shoes until I read the title and looked a second time.
Unmistakabley yours (photo and legs) - Great stuff.
John
Thanks John - I really should have chosen a different background so that the shoes actually show! Maybe I'll put a spotlight on them next time!
For some reason my legs always come out better on photos than they look in the mirror - admittedly stupidly high heels do help ![]()
shoes with attitude ..... and only a fiver
love this
Thanks again folks and than you Nick for your award ![]()
I've taken a look at the Dark Souls game Nikita - now if I can figure out a way to keep the lid of the case from falling too far backwards.......
Oh I won't be attacking these shoes with any spray paint Ade - I'll just find a way of showing the sparkle ![]()

True - and I've plenty of that........ although then I'd have to right up a stand to attach the line too - and I couldn't do with with me actually the case as it's remarkably tricky to manoeuvre without bringing everything crashing down around me
early days though - the vague idea may never materialise!
Just the 'thumbnail' said this was you Ali... xx
Love it.
(BTW - If you're doing a 2013 Calendar, I'm up for a copy. PM me the price and the cash will be in the post! [Had soooo much interest in the current one!!]
)

A good point!
I'm not going to pay you for it though. As usual, we'll barter.
Personally, I'd like to see twelve of your craziest SPs rather than the still lifes or flowers but that's just me.
I do tend to do two calendars - one for family and peeps who don't like the SPs and one for those that do like the SPs ![]()
I'm happy to receive suggestions of any images that anyone would feel appropriate for either type of calendar - when I get to image sorting I tend to think that they're all a bit rubbish.......
Selecting SPs might be as straightforward as selecting the twelve that have had the most success on here.
(Good Lord! Votes might just serve a purpose at last!)
Or, if you'd prefer personal choices, I'll have a look at your pf. for inspiration!
As for the more sober images, I'm not so sure.
If I'm honest, I tend to look at them and pay no more attention. Not because there's anything wrong with them but still lifes are of limited interest to me.
We could do both Ali.
I'll have a nose through your pf. and find my favourites, regardless of their Epz. success and you could check your stats.
It could be interesting to see how the two results compare.
Over the weekend then.
I can fit it around the MotoGp. (A bloke has to get his priorities right!)
G'night.
