I got into photography in 1990 when I bought a good friend's Pentax SF7. Self-taught I like to think of myself as being a keen amateur. The shift to digital took a while to make, but when I took the plunge with my Fuji S602z a year and a half ago I knew I'd made the right move. I recently got myself a Canon 300D and must say my hobby has received a new lease of life.
