I pass this tractor regularly but only tend to photograph it in the snow. Only tweaked the contrast a little.

Im sure it looks better in the snow!
Perhaps you could have moved in closer and more to the right to exclude as much of those houses as possible, - would look better without them I think, - but I dont know whats on the left!
As it is its quite nice, however the scene needed a positive exposure compensation due to the snow, which should appear a little brighter and less blue, as in the mod.

Willie
I found a picture entitled "Abandoned Tractor" in your portfolio, Nick, and find it an excellent closeup of this vehicle. In the image you present here, I feel that the tractor is still the main subject, but that it doesn't have enough detail and is rather dark. I realise you have gone for the wider view, but there is little else of interest really. Frank's idea is a good one.
Pamela.
Hi Nik.......Croppped the top to help put the tractor on the upper third; then extended the 'Canvas' down at the bottom(Image > Resize > Canvas);
Now make a selection of the bottom part of the image, everything below the tractor, hit Ctrl+J to put it on it's own Layer, the go to Image > Transform > Distort,
now drag the bottom edge down to fill the extended canvas, & finally drag the bottom RH corner to the right to stretch the image into the corner; flatten the layers
when your happy with the new composition; & finally crop off any rough edges..............job done !!!.......have a play at it, it's great fun how you can rearrange
an image..........
regards....Keith.
