Just days before this got boarded up prior to developers moving in, I caught this by perching halfway up a lamp post. It is the underpass for horse drawn barges, allowing horses to cross from one side of the canal to the other without untying from the barge. I liked the way the cobbles sweep round the curve and disappear into the little tunnel.
