this is a section of the well eroded groynes which run along Normans Bay on the east sussex coastline between Eastbourne and Hastings. Looking up the naturally very steep stoney beach away from the sea, i liked the lines of the groynes running into the sky. This was taken mid afternoon and a ND grad was used to hold the sky back a little.

Yes, strong image. But two points: the right side of the sky is a deeper blue. Must be a filter problem for this is not a natural phenomenon. Second: the exposure for the foreground element could have been better. Bit washed out in its highlights now. Still a great image. Cheers, Bert

have to admit , have seen one to many of these fence down the middle of the beach and jetty into a lake shots now , any chance of some originality or are we all just going to vote for the picture perfect same old ?
