I took in November 2008. Most uploads including this mountain show it as quite a small backdrop to a waterfall. In reality it is an extremely imposing mountain. I hope the large version of this shot gives you some idea of that.

The Buachaille standing clear and proud on Rannoch Moor is very accessable to the photographer and any view that's different is always welcome. Mono brings out the detail in the mountaan's rough surface of bare rock, a delight to view Nigel.
