I took this at a very windy spring Airshow at Duxford on Sunday. Considering how much we were all buffeted by the blustery conditions, I was pleasantly suprised at the hit rate on sharp shots. I know Airshow shots don't often fare well on epz, but this is my favourite aircraft and I hope some of you like it too.

Thanks. Although the sky and light aren't brilliant here, they were at other times during the afternoon.

Pretty impressive, also one of Roger's favourite planes.Think the dull skies are quite fitting when you think of the times that they flew in & their missions. Sylv.PS thanks for your comment on 'the man', I thought he was a great guy to shoot.

Lovely shot, just a pity about the light, but still an excellent photo. Just love the Spifire,I spend a lot of time at Duxford when I can get away just to hear the engine sounds.

I don't visit your PF nearly enough Nigel - and the loss is all mine.

This is superb despite the light conditions. But - there are times when that can be beneficial. Wink
