A Meadow Brown for today. I must admit that i often overlook this species as it's so numerous and it's markings are rather innocuous at first sight. However closer inspection reveals a beautiful array of brown and orange hues aswell as that wonderful eye. Ofcourse it does help when they are nectaring on a beautiful flower such as this Scabious.
