A picture of my son, Joseph intently watching a snail as it slowly came out of its shell and started to move. He kept picking it up, and of course it kept disappearing into its shell! I told him to leave it, and just watch. He did, and this was the result!

This works very well for me. Good use of DOF. Perhaps a tad more contrast would lift it
