A nice little shrub in our garden, which I only know as 'Forest Fire'.....don't know the 'proper' name of it ??

The new shoots are bright red, & fade to orange, yellow, then green, as the leaves below........

I just loved the colour contrast between the reds & greens......but I've added a bit of texture to the old
leaves, to emphasise their 'fading', though in truth they are an 'evergreen'........

Many thanks for your response to 'Coastal Knapweed', with special thanks to Irishkate for the UA !!.Grin

Good shot Keith, but I am a bit disappointed after reading your title.
I thought you were on a reunion with your old Scouting buddies sitting
round a campfire singing about your Ging Gang Goolies !!

A pieris japonica, Keith. I like your overhead pov with the layers of star shaped leaves. The texture works well, too.

It's quite an exotic looking shrub which must bring a bright splash of colour to the garden, Keith: obviously other smaller critters appear to find it appealing too.
Very nice crisp and colourful shot.
