This lovely Honeysuckle was growing around the doorway of our holiday accommodation in Norfolk recently.......
2 days later, we discovered there were Goldfinches nesting in there about 18" above where I took this shot !!!....we
gave them a wide berth afterwards.....as well as leaving some food out for them.....but there were Greenfinch,
Chaffinch, Great Tits....& a couple of Voles all having their share too......very entertaining !!!.![]()
It's a straight shot, with a little added texture to age it a bit..............
Thanks everyone for your response to 'Blea Tarn II'........well appreciated !!!.![]()

not an easy image to get but you have nailed it well
My favourite flower, or so it says in my 'about me' favourites
. Well captured, Keith.

Wonderful light & colour captured here..nice DOF too![]()
Honeysuckle has a beauty all of it's own. Cottages do seem to attract all sorts of wildlife. I know about that.

What an axing set of colours. The shapes you found , framing the open flowers with the new buds is well balanced, too.
Honeysuckle is one of my favourite plants, Keith, and this is a top image you have presented. I was in doubt about the texturing effect, but having come back to it a few times, feel that it is better than a straight shot.
