Managed to grab a couple of shots of our Hydrangea in between showers.....they're in full bloom now, & this is just
a close-up of one of the 'Umbels', (each cluster is known as an Umbel !....on this 'Umbeliferous plant')
The colour is a very deep pink, & is stunning at this time of year !!

A beautifully rich colour to this hydrangea, Keith, and the droplets add a lot to the attraction of this frame-filling image.
I know them as corymbs or panicles, but I like the word umbel. It's apparently from the Latin "umbella" which means a sunshade or parasol, rather appropriate for the raindrops
.
