Photography and cooking are my passions, but never have I been trained in both. I have always believed that a passion can never be taught, but can be achieved gradually as one tries to discover more of it. Well! I have been working on landscapes; it’s a great getaway for me but at the same time I like shooting reality shots and a little bit on people. I have always tried to make the best use of natural lights and I love to shoot at different camera settings. This helps me control the light and back grounds that I don’t want in my composition. One of my unforgettable moments was in the slums of Kolkatta (India) where I tried to capture the hope and happiness of the people of slums in my camera. It was amazing that they were the most under privileged people, yet the happiest lot and that hope always kept them going. I have been taking such pictures but never have I participated in any exhibitions and I really do not know the levels of my photography. I came to know of this site from one of the existing member and so I decided to be a member. I would love to get some feedbacks on my shoots from photographers who are more experienced and of course learn more. Wish me luck …
