Processed in LR4, then Silver FEX light selinium process.
Love the lichen encrusted stones, the processing has brought them out a treat.
I must look into this Silver Fex, it has done a good job here.
Lichen on gravestones, one of my favourite subjects. And mono works so well here.
Now I'm wondering where this is, it's obviously very old but still used for modern burials.
Once you start photographing cemeteries you never find your way out again...
Hi the church dates back to the 12century I believe and is still used, the place is Ryarsh in Kent. There are some very old headstiones, and these two are very close to the church.
I know that some of the headstones are dated 1700 up, so I believe that these two are older. Headstones like these are a great subject and I am allways looking out for new ones.
Thanks all for the feedback
I really like the age progression in the stones from the old, lichen coated stones to the pristine recent stone in the background. For me a really nice composition.
