Some shiny taps and a Teak sink from Lanhydrock House. Nothing new with having a separate drinking water tap.
Many thanks to all who commented and clicked on before they are gone.
Have a pleasant weekend
i like this shot well done . christine.
nice capture of these well looked after taps and lots of wood texture to be seen on the wood and stone
And not a drip in sight Nick. Good image, I like it.
Nicely composed shot Nick. Lovely shiny taps with some nice reflection in them. Moira
Excellent !! I love this image - great colour, composition and textures ! Stunning photo
Well seen - and just look how they gleam!
I bet you back in the day when all these toffs stayed in this house Nick, they would not believe that some day folk would actually go into a shop and pay good money to buy water out of a plastic bottle !! I am still tempted to do a ''Del Boy'' and fill bottles from my tap and sell it as ,''Mikbee's Aphrodisiac Scottish Mountain Spring Water'' !! Not so much for all us Scottish studs, but for all these Scottish women to take as medicine when they complain about that headache they have every Saturday night when we come home from the pub !!
Very well composed image. So glad someone else gets to polish all that lovely, shining brass though.
Gosh wish my taps were that shiny!!
a great image Nick
Lovely shiny taps, puts mine to shame..Lin
These are ever lasting than fancy ones, well spotted.
Lovely shiny taps I do like to see them shine and what detail you have captured with some good reflections in them. nice shot
I reckon these are cleverly disguised beer taps, and the sink is in fact the drip tray. I'll have a pint of cold, please
Great composition and stunning detail, Nick.
I did not for one minute think this image would sink without trace, it was well worth you plugging this excellent shot and tapping into its potential
I think i've plumbed the depths tonight with some of those puns!
well observed and recorded - good detail and colour capture.
