Hi folks.
Here's a panorama i took from my friends flat at the top of a tower block in kennington, south east london. (Must be viewed large)
On the left you can just make out the nat west tower and the gerkin building on the south bank then a bit to the right is the new shard building still under construction. further right is the Strata building at the elephant & castle, further right in the distance is Canary wharf
and even further right on the hill is the crystal palace and norwood towers.

I grew up in this area and have not been back for a long time, i was suprised how much it has all changed since i was a kid, most of the buildings you see on the skyline were not there 20 years ago!
I hope to visit my friend again soon, he says we can gain access to the roof so i can do a full panoramic shot that will include the river thames, houses of parliment, london eye etc, it's gonna look great at night...i can hardly wait!

Thank you all so much for taking the time to comment and vote on my pics. Smile
Ricky.

A grand panorama, Ricky, very well captured. I wouldn't recognise London now, the skyline has changed enormously. Carol

Great pano work. Thanks for explaining the layout as don't know London, other than 2 brief stays too many years ago to wish to mention! Looking forward very much to the promised low-light pano in the future too!
