Many thanks to all who voted and commented on "lines of Gold" .. I very much appreciate it ![]()
Today's image is slightly offbeat and abstract. I had a bunch of gerberas and I wanted to get a reflection in the water drops. If you look closely, you can see the red and orange gerbara reflecting, resembling a pair of eyes

Thank you for looking ![]()

Superb macro and inspirational, now I know what the bar has been set at it is going to be hard to beat. Stunning detail and colour.
Very well done.
Regrads.
Gavin
Fabulous macro shot Anna, fantastic colour and I love those water droplets.
Hugh
Fantastic detail in the reflection, really well executed, Anna. Not totally sure about whether you've got the best crop out of the image, though. The foreground out of focus petal and droplets are a bit too prominent for me and slightly distracting on an otherwise tremendous capture. (Sorry, just a personal observation).

this is so cute, reminds me of those wonderful marbles that we had when we were kids. there used to be some with flowers instead of the swirly bits, they were highly desirable and hard to win!
impressive work
I also would like to see it cropped as well
Great macro shots, both of them, but like the closer crop better with so much wonderful detail..Jo
A fantastic macro, good composition looks like a head and two eyes from the gerbra's. Well done. WesternRed.
Two wonderful images. The droplets look like miniature paper weights great macro work and colours
