Firstly, what a very well taken shot Barbs, this really is a spot on capture and works perfectly in mono, and second, i did'nt realize the neck was so short! but what a lovely instrument, like to have a go one one myself but i suspect i would have to learn completely different chords from the usual?

It looks a fine instrument, Barbara. I've just looked at pictures of one or two on the internet; I'm pleased to say that this looks so much better than the over-ornate, pearl-encrusted versions of the 17th & 18th centuries that look far too ornate to be real.

An excellent double portrait in first-class black & white.
